Allyson Boate

Allyson Boate graduated from the University of Virginia and moved to New York City in May 2011.  So far she loves it.

  • Her chief theatrical interests include Shakespeare and Improv Comedy.
  • She is currently waitressing at The Stag's Head, a craft beer bar, and Cornerstone Tavern, a karaoke/sports bar.
  • She was born in Sarnia, in Ontario, Canada.
  • Her dream is to one day take a puppet production of "Romeo and Juliet" on tour to schools.  And then work at the Stratford Shakespeare Festival.
  • She is no longer permitted to attend UVa's annual Trick-or-Treat on the Lawn (see photo).
